Each year the National Order of Battlefield Commissions awards the John C. Angier III Memorial Scholarship to a Mustang Pony.  The scholarship is to assist students accepted to a college for the fall term or presently enrolled and pursuing a baccalaureate degree.

 

Eligibility

Applicant must be a Mustang Pony or Junior Associate Pony (a high school Senior who is not yet 18 years old)

Application Requirements

Submission requirements include:

1. A two page personal and background essay written by the student including:

   • Major reason for attending college

   • Aspirations after graduation

   • Why you selected your chosen college or university

   • Academic Achievements

   • Extracurricular school activities

   • Work Experiences

   • Awards and Honors

2. Completed and signed scholarship application

3. Official transcript from current high school or college

4. Copy of acceptance letter if not currently enrolled in the college

5. Letter of recommendation from someone other than a family member

   • May be sent separately

6. Wallet size photograph, preferably in color
